Injury-afflicted Rumman Raees roped in as bowling consultant for Islamabad United
Rumman Raees will serve as Islamabad United's bowling consultant for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after going unpicked at the player draft earlier this month.
Raees made his international debut in 2016 and was a part of Pakistan's Champions Trophy-winning squad the following year, but a series of injuries have impeded his career.

The left-arm paceman, known for his canny variations, also played an integral role in Islamabad United's successful campaigns in PSL 2016 and 2018.
His most recent appearance in a competitive match arrived in last year's PSL when he turned out for Islamabad United in their four-wicket defeat to Karachi Kings in March.
Raees has since missed Pakistan's domestic season due to the aggravation of his back injury, which ruled him out of PSL 6 as well.
“It’s an honour for me that Johan and Islamabad United selected me for this role. I’d also like to thank Ali Naqvi [ISLU owner] for this opportunity," the 29-year-old said, reacting to his appointment in the new role.
"Islamabad United have always backed me over the last five years, through my good times and my bad times, and I want to give back to them as they have given to me," he added.
